iHollywood Film Fest runs this site and the festival. This policy explains what we collect when you visit the site, submit a film, or register for an event, and what we do with it.
What we collect
This site has no forms and no accounts.
When you submit a film through FilmFreeway, FilmFreeway shares your submission details with us, including your name, email address, and the information you enter about your film.
When you register for an event through Luma, Luma shares your name and email address with us.
Why we collect it
To judge submissions, notify winners and selected filmmakers, send event updates, and send our mailing list.
Who we share it with
FilmFreeway and Luma handle submissions and registrations under their own privacy policies. Our mailing list is sent through an email service provider that stores and sends on our behalf. We don't sell your information, we don't rent it, and we don't share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Submission and registration details: as long as we need them to run the festival. Mailing list: until you unsubscribe. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site is used: pages viewed, time on site, browser, device, approximate location. It uses cookies, doesn't store your IP address, and isn't used for advertising. Visit-level data is deleted after 14 months. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google. Google's policy: policies.google.com/privacy. Opt out of analytics: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Your rights
If you're in California, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion, and to not be discriminated against for asking. If you're in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you similar rights, including the right to a copy of your data.

Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top.
