I began my career with the Estee Lauder family, working for Prescriptives cosmetics. I was trained as a specialist where I learned how to blend makeup and powder to match the skin color on the spot. I also worked on a traveling team of artists that worked fashion shows and special events around the west coast; including a tea and fashion show at the Beverly Hills Hotel for Ms. Lauder, fall and spring launches of Lauder company products and some celebrity events and signings.
I moved on in my career to work for Chanel and Christian Dior as a special events makeup artist and worked on major product launches, education classes, fashion shows, store events and some celebrity events.
I worked as an artist in Hollywood. I worked on up and coming rock bands during the 90’s as well as fashion shows, events and magazine articles. I assisted key artists while learning film and television. I taught makeup application to models for John Casablanca’s modeling agency in Hollywood, and I also worked on some music videos.
I have toured schools and spoke to groups of girls about makeup as a career choice where I also shared my experiences working in the makeup industry. Recently, I formed my own company where I teamed up with celebrity artists and formed makeup camps to teach others around the world how to work in the makeup industry. My company is called Quiet on Set Hollywood Makeup.
Most recently, I have been working events and writing articles on events in Hollywood. I am the entertainment journalist for Chinese Magazine and I am also a freelance journalist for Heart of Hollywood Magazine. I worked the Hollywood Music and Media Awards, The Arts 4 Peace Awards and the Viper Room where I wrote an article about a music panel for up and coming music talent. I had the pleasure of interviewing Martha Davis of the rock band The Motels, Scott Page of Pink Floyd, Supertramp and Toto. I also cover Scott Page from Pink Floyd on his latest project Think: EXP A Pink Floyd experience and I recently covered Scott’s other collaborations with Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kenny Olson of Kid Rock, Tony Franklin of the Firm and Stephen Perkins of Janes Addiction. I also was a VIP at the Heart of Hollywood red carpet event in Tijuana Mexico where I was honored for my time in Hollywood as a make-up artist. My last project was the Sue Wong Oscar Gala where I served as an assistant producer. I lastly have a podcast that will be launching soon and I will be sharing my experiences in Hollywood as an artist.
